Accounting Supervisor

Job Brief:

Are you experienced in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with local tax regulations? Do you have a strong background in accounting standards and the ability to lead a finance team effectively? If you are certified in accounting (ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) and proficient in tools like Oracle Fusion, SAP, or QuickBooks—with hands-on experience in VAT filing and corporate tax compliance in Saudi Arabia—we invite you to join our client’s team as an Accounting Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and approving Purchase Orders (P.O.’s).
  • Prepare and input month-end accruals, review and approve payrolls.
  • Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Oversees correct project accounting (early revenue recognition).
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger.
  • Produces KSA entity monthly management reports and liaises with auditors
  • Monitor Bank positions/ reconciliations and provide weekly cash flows.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare VAT and other tax filings and ensure compliance with country regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants and accounting clerks (3).
  • Undertakes ad-hoc studies per management requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ACCA, CIMA, CA.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast-paced environment, delivering measurable results.
  • Previous experience working in KSA.
  • Other Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting rules and principles, consolidations, business
  • combinations, and financial instruments.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior staff.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion MRP (Finance, Module) is preferred since the company operates Oracle Fusion.
  • Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under frequently changing priorities.

Job Location: Saudi Arabia, Al Khobar

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: SAR 15000/Month
