Embedded Hardware Engineer

Job Brief:

Are you a skilled Embedded Hardware Engineer with expertise in PCB design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems? If yes, then you are the one we are looking for!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design, hardware integration, and embedded technologies for applications such as robotics, defense systems, ARHMD, and GNSS based GPS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PCBs and circuit schematics for embedded systems.
  • Create robust and scalable embedded hardware solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Select and integrate microcontrollers (ARM7, STM32F745) and electronic components.
  • Develop hardware architectures for Enhanced Situational Awareness Systems (ESAS), ARHMD, and GNSSbased heading systems.
  • Conduct circuit simulations and testing using SPICE, MATLAB, and LTspice.
  • Design and implement powerefficient and thermally optimized embedded hardware solutions.
  • Work with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP, UDP, RS232, USB, and Ethernet.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures and optimize performance using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards, including IEC regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of robotics, IGLA & ZU gun systems, and thermal imaging sight outputs.
  • Ensure compliance with highdensity interconnect (HDI) and multilayer PCB design best practices.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in embedded hardware development, with experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive industries.
  • PCB Design & Circuit Analysis: Proficiency in Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle.
  • Microcontrollers & Processors: Experience with ARM7, STM32F745, PIC, and AVR.
  • Embedded Communication Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, USB, Ethernet.
  • Power Electronics: Design and integration of DCDC converters, motor drivers, and power management solutions.
  • Simulation & Debugging Tools: Handson experience with SPICE, MATLAB, LTspice, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG.
  • Hardware Platforms: FPGA, DSP, SoCs.
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, VxWorks.
  • Networking Protocols: TCP, UDP.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of GNSSbased positioning systems and kinematicsbased GPS.
  • Experience in thermal imaging (TI) sight outputs and sensor integration.
  • Knowledge of augmented reality (AR) hardware systems.
    Handson experience in prototyping, soldering, and assembling components.
  • Ability to analyze and implement highfrequency design principles for optimal signal integrity and EMC.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation in English.

Salary: SAR 9000 – 10000/ Month
