Ship Broker

Job Brief:

Are you experienced in the LNG/LPG or Tankers market? Do you have a successful track record in ship chartering and shipbroking, along with a strong network of charterers and shipowners? If so, you are the one we are looking for!

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Shipbroker to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining relationships, negotiating charter agreements, and managing all necessary documentation to support effective ship chartering operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with shipowners and charterers in the market to identify and secure ship chartering opportunities.
• Conduct regular communication with shipowners to verify the availability of vessels for chartering.
• Follow up on ship charter leads and negotiate terms to facilitate successful charter agreements.
• Build and expand a network of contacts within the industry through various channels, including LinkedIn, telephone, and email.
• Prepare and manage all relevant documentation, including charterparty agreements, ship brokerage agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
• Stay informed on market trends and developments to provide strategic advice and insights to clients.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a chartering or ship brokering firm.
• Preferred experience in the LNG/LPG or Tankers market.
• An existing network of charterers and shipowners is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an extroverted personality and genuine enthusiasm for networking and relationship-building.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in documentation management and editing.

Job Location: Dubai

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: AED 12000 – 15000/month + Additional 10% commission based on revenue
