Business Development Manager – Marine Industry

Are you experienced in selling marine services and solutions to ship owners and ship management companies? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead sales and client acquisition efforts in the marine sector. You will be responsible for driving monthly revenue starting at AED 1 million, with a long-term target of AED 30 million annually. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the maritime market, and brings strong commercial instincts combined with regional fluency and cultural alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and onboard new clients, particularly ship ownerstechnical managers, and marine procurement decision-makers.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets starting at AED 1 million, progressing toward annual AED 30 million goals.
  • Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the marine, shipping, offshore, and logistics sectors.
  • Lead Management: Generate leads through referrals, cold outreach, events, LinkedIn, and shipping databases.
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver tailored commercial offers; lead contract negotiations and close deals.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competition, gather customer feedback, and adjust sales strategies based on market demand and marine industry trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the marine/shipping industry in UAE
  • Strong network with ship owners and ship management companies is mandatory.
  • Not necessarily an engineer, but must understand maritime products/services and procurement cycles.
  • Must be fluent in Arabic and English
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: AED 20,000/month + Performance-based Incentives

Commission Structure:
