Mechanical Technician

Job Brief:

Are you a hands-on mechanical technician with experience in service, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, especially hydraulic and brake components? Are you passionate about solving technical issues and committed to quality service delivery?

The company is looking for a Mechanical Service Technician to join  field service team. This role involves on-site installations, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across the UAE, working closely with clients’ in-house engineering and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Support & Commissioning: Work in coordination with the in-house Commissioning Engineer for on-site activities.
• Installation & Maintenance: Install, commission, inspect, and service mechanical systems—particularly brakes and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose faults and carry out emergency repairs as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled service and ensure mechanical components are functioning to specification.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with the engineering and service team to resolve technical issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely service reports, maintenance logs, and related documentation.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols, PPE usage, and site compliance requirements.
• Customer Site Visits: Travel to customer locations across the UAE as per service schedules or urgent calls.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Diploma or 2-year certification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical service or field maintenance experience. (Brakes or hydraulic system experience is an advantage.)
• Solid understanding of mechanical components, diagnostic tools, and fault analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical service manuals.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools, testing equipment, and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Physically fit, with flexibility to travel across the UAE and work in demanding field conditions.
• Willing to work extended hours and in variable environments as needed.

Salary: 4500 – 5000 AED /Month
