Job Brief:
Are you experienced in managing technical documentation for QA/QC or engineering projects? Do you excel at organizing, tracking, and distributing project records in a high‑compliance environment? If so, you’re the Document Controller we’re looking for.
Our client is seeking a Document Controller to support the QC Department on a major pipeline project in KSA. You will ensure all project documents, inspection reports, and quality records are accurately maintained and accessible to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the document control system in line with project procedures and Aramco standards.
- Receive, register, track, distribute, and archive all incoming/outgoing documents, including ITPs, NCRs, inspection reports, and method statements.
- Monitor revision control, ensure the latest drawing revisions and specifications are issued to the project team.
- Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers, project managers, and clients to obtain approvals and signatures.
- Maintain document registers, logs, and status reports for transmittals, submittals, and deliverables.
- Ensure timely escalations for overdue documents and follow up on review cycles.
- Prepare and deliver document transmittal packages for internal and external audits.
- Support site teams by providing accurate copies of the latest project documentation.
- Conduct periodic document audits to verify completeness and compliance.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Minimum 2 years as a Document Controller in oil & gas, construction, or engineering projects.
- Hands‑on experience with QC/QA documentation, ISO procedures, and Aramco document control requirements.
- Proficient in using document management software is preferred (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Docuware).
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English/ Arabic is a Must.
