Field Joint Coating Technician – Pipeline Projects

Job Brief:

Are you experienced in field joint coating operations for pipeline projects? Do you have hands-on skills in applying FBE, PU, or epoxy coatings and a strong understanding of quality and safety standards? If so, we’re looking for you.

Our client is seeking Field Joint Coating Technicians to join ongoing pipeline projects in KSA and India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing coating applications on welded joints, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform coating of field joints using FBE, PU, or liquid epoxy systems
• Carry out proper surface preparation as per technical specifications
• Operate coating equipment and monitor application parameters
• Ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and client-specific standards
• Support QA/QC inspections and rectify coating defects as required
• Record daily progress, material usage, and application logs
• Follow site supervisor instructions and report technical issues
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of tools and PPE

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in pipeline field joint coating
• Knowledge of FBE, PU, or epoxy coating application methods
• Familiarity with pipeline project conditions and HSE standards
• Ability to follow drawings, technical data sheets, and instructions
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or remote locations
• Basic understanding of quality inspection and surface prep standards

Location: KSA & India

Salary Range: SAR 3,000 – 4,500
