Project Engineer (MEP)

We are hiring a skilled MEP Engineer – Projects to join our client’s Engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee site execution, ensure high-quality installation, review technical drawings, and coordinate between engineering and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing works including installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with civil and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration and project execution.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Monitor material usage, site productivity and ensure work progress meets the project schedule.
• Conduct routine site inspections ensuring compliance with quality, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for management review.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings, documentation, and close-out submissions.
• Contribute to project design requirements in coordination with third-party architects.
• Participate in tender estimation, cost evaluations, and value engineering with third-party PMC teams.
• Manage site engineering tasks and assist in technical problem resolution.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Head of Projects.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of UAE experience in MEP contracting projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and reading MEP drawings.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Available to join immediately (preferred).
