Sales Executive – Shipping

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
• Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
• Following up with the existing customers and converting it as business would be your main role and not lead generation.
• Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
• Maintain records of customer details / sales visits in the Orient.
• Job opening & Closures
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines and quote the customer
• Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
• Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.

Requirements & Accountabilities

• Meet and exceed revenue targets set per Segment/ Product for the existing client
• Create and develop new revenue on existing accounts.
• Maintain customers profile report and follow up on leads.

 Required Skills:

• Minimum 4 to 5 years Sales experience in Shipping, Freight Forwarding / Logistics
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivator / Aggressive / Ambitious
• Extrovert
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Arabic language is preferred, but not a must.

Job Location: Dubai

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: AED 6500 – AED 8000 (Negotiable for senior level employees)
