Senior Accountant

Job Brief:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial statement preparation and analysis in compliance with UAE standards.
• Develop and oversee budgets, providing crucial financial insights for business expansion.
• Conduct audits and ensure strict compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of junior accountants, focusing on professional growth.
• Serve as a key liaison for financial communication with senior management and stakeholders.
• Streamline and enhance accounting processes, aligning them with UAE market requirements.
• Undertake strategic financial analysis, delivering actionable recommendations for business growth.
• Lead training initiatives on UAE-specific accounting standards and software.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Statements Preparation, Auditing, and VAT compliance.
• Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
• Mastery of Zoho Books and other prevalent accounting systems in the UAE.
• Fluency in English (Arabic and French will be an added advantage).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Deep understanding of UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and business practices.
• Proven leadership abilities in managing a diverse team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
