Senior Strategic Planning Professional – Petrochemical Sector

Farabi Petrochemicals is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Professional to join its leadership team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will play a key role in aligning long-term business planning with commercial objectives and industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning initiatives and business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Perform project feasibility studies, valuation, and financial modeling for new and existing business opportunities.
• Utilize knowledge of stoichiometry, energy balance, and mass balance calculations to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze global pricing benchmarks and maintain commercial standards across petrochemical operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and commercial teams to evaluate expansion or investment opportunities.
• Prepare and present strategic insights and business cases to senior leadership.
• Lead and negotiate strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.
• Build strong networks within the petrochemical industry to support strategic initiatives.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic planning or business development in the petrochemical industry.
• Strong background in both technical and commercial aspects of the petrochemical sector.
• Expertise in stoichiometry, energy and mass balance, and their practical application.
• Proven experience in project feasibility assessments, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Excellent skills in business conceptualization, quantitative analysis, and executive communication.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Professional personality and presence for networking within the petrochemical ecosystem.
