Testing Engineer

Job Brief:

Are you a skilled Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in testing and validating complex electrical and mechanical systems in industrial environments? If yes, then you are the one we are looking for! Our client is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join their team working on cutting-edge robotic and pipeline integrity solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of robotic systems used in harsh field conditions.

The client is head-quartered in the United States , specializes in providing coating services through robotic systems for onshore and offshore pipelines, refineries, and various other industrial plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional, performance, and safety testing of robotic systems and subsystems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for electrical and mechanical components.
  • Support the design and integration teams by providing feedback from testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues in our robotic systems.
  • Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations for testing and safety.
  • Assist in the designing, setup and maintenance of test rigs/setups, automated data acquisition
  • systems for various electronics and mechanical systems.
  • Participate in field trials and testing of systems when required.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to product quality enhancements.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelors in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min 3–5 years of hands-on testing experience in electro-mechanical or industrial systems.
  • Strong understanding of testing protocols for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, mustimeters, and DAQ systems.
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, circuit testing, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues independently.
  • Good understanding of industrial safety standards and IPC testing practices.
  • Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Mindset: Analytical, detail-oriented, and team-focused with strong documentation skills.

Location: Abqaiq, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full-time / 60 hours per week
