Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and subcontractors to develop detailed construction plans and schedules.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, assess progress, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Coordinate construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, structural steel erection, and finishing works.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize engineering software to perform structural analysis, design calculations, and modeling as needed.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Procure materials and equipment required for construction activities, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and minimizing project overruns.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, resolving technical issues and challenges as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, or any other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
