Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our client’s team.

The Transportation Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of transportation operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of transportation logistics

Key Responsibilities

•  Schedule drivers and assign delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance, and trip logs.
• Assist in the hiring process of new drivers, including conducting interviews and facilitating training sessions.
• Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and reduce transportation expenses.
• Implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure fleet reliability.
• Analyze transportation data and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of drivers, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and customer service.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during transportation operations, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to service.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field; or Diploma/GED Certificate.
• 3 years’ experience in transportation management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Arabic language is required.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Familiarity with transportation management software or systems is preferred.

Job Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Type of Employment: Full Time/ Permanent

Salary: SAR 10K to 12K/monthly
